About the project
Our own series of children’s books published in cooperation with the Promotion Office of the City of Wałbrzych. Their hero is a mascot of Wałbrzych – world-interested Mouflon, which shows a reader around monuments and interesting places of the region. Moofie informs about the geography and history, referring to both the facts and the popular legends, easily and attractively. The information is presented through puzzles, nursery rhymes, stickers and manual tasks. The books are an incentive to travel in the immediate area and shape in children a sense of social and territorial belonging.
Published in 2014 third part of the Moofie visits Lower Silesia was awarded by the Central Library of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society during 23 National Educational and Tourist Books Review.
